The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, residential, and industrial settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Maintain floors through regular care, including buffing and polishing as needed. Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and well-maintained. Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality of the building. Respond to custodial requests promptly and efficiently. Assist with special projects such as deep cleaning or seasonal maintenance. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
