Houseman/Housekeeper Fairfield Inn & Suites 1860 Remount Road, Gastonia, NC 28054 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman to join our team. As a vital part of our hospitality service, you will ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Your role will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience, maintaining the high standards expected in our hotel environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms. Ensure all floor care tasks are completed, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability for guests. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to provide exceptional hospitality and service to guests. Skills Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all housekeeping tasks. Experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Background in hospitality or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within a hotel setting is advantageous. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and products. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
