Housekeeper Barkwells 290 Lance Road, Mills River, NC 28759 ## Job Overview Are you passionate about creating clean, welcoming spaces and working in an amazing, dog-friendly environment? Barkwells, a unique dog-centric vacation resort for people who vacation with their dogs, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Barkwells is located in Mills River. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our guests (both human and canine) enjoy a pristine and comfortable stay. ## Responsibilities

• Cleans cabins and cottages following company standards and guest expectations.
• Supports the laundry function by sorting dirty linens, treating stains, washing and drying according to our standards.
• Checks stock levels per documented guidelines and identifies items that are needed. —~Restocks amenities such as linens, towels, and supplies.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to provide excellent service and exceptional teamwork.
• Delivers excellent customer service when interacting with team members, guests, and dogs.
• Adheres to health and safety guidelines.
• Upholds Barkwells’ high standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. ## Requirements
• Experience in cleaning and laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reliable transportation to and from Barkwells.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend rotations.
• Comfortable working in a dog-friendly environment.
• Must be physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
