Housekeeper Hampton Inn – Cornelius Cornelius, NC 28031 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall hospitality experience. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitize surfaces. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in accordance with safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Skills Strong background in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred. Experience with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of floor care methods and products to maintain various types of flooring. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team within a hotel or similar environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
