The Sharon at SouthPark is a continuing care retirement community for senior residents located near the heart of SouthPark. We are a non-profit long-term care facility that offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. SUMMARY The purpose of this position to provide clean living and working conditions for residents and staff in accordance with state, federal and county regulations along with facility policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

include the following (other duties may be assigned): Ability to perform all cleaning procedures (dust, vacuum, mop, etc.) as directed. Ability to observe infection control procedures and proper waste disposal in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Must be able to follow directions and assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment; reporting equipment malfunction to supervisor. Able to recognize situations that need repair and put in appropriate work order. Ability to dispense soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies; able to assist with laundry duties. Able to follow Resident’s Rights policies at all times. Able to come to work as scheduled; demonstrate dependability and punctuality. Able to accept assigned duties and follow facility safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time-management and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma preferred. Prior customer service experience preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

: This position is not responsible for supervising other staff.
