out of 5 stars Troy, NC 27371 JOB An employee of this class is primarily responsible for performing a variety of scheduled custodial services to maintain cleanliness of County facilities. An employee in this position is responsible for collecting and disposing of refuse, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms and replenishing soap, toilet paper and towels. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Housekeeper II and overview of the Housekeeping Supervisor allowing for the exercise of independent judgment in planning and carrying out the details of the work. Does related work as required. Regular work hours are 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
Overtime and weekend work is very seldom.
County benefits include 11 paid holidays per calendar year.

The employee may be responsible for performing other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms (examples: fixtures, mirrors and other surfaces) and water fountains; replenishes soap and paper products.
Cleans, dusts and polishes surface areas in offices, break rooms, hallways, stairways, and conference rooms including, but not limited to, surface tops, walls, woodwork, windows, blinds, and vents; empties trash cans; sweeps, vacuums, mops, and waxes floors.
Adheres to the department’s safety rules and regulations.
May be required to drive to different work location various days and times.
Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail, and database software in performing work assignments.
Performs other duties as required.
