Housekeeping Holiday Inn Express and Suites 839 Medical Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Housekeeper will play a crucial role in ensuring that all spaces are sanitized, organized, and welcoming. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as organizing rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and kitchen upkeep. Execute carpet cleaning and floor care duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Manage custodial responsibilities in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus. Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as needed.
