Houseman/Maintenance Holiday Inn Express & Suites University Center 160 Van Campen Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28403 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards. Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces. Replace linens, towels, and other amenities in guest rooms as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition. Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Skills Strong cleaning skills with experience in hotel housekeeping preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment for various surfaces. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous but not required.
