Housekeeper La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boone University 165 North Carolina Highway 105 Extension 105, Boone, NC 28607 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel space. This role requires a proactive approach to housekeeping management, ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness and safety. Change bed linens and towels regularly while adhering to established standards. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow all safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards in cleanliness. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with custodial practices and floor care techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas.
