Job Summary:
Mainsail Motel is seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and orderly environment for our guests, helping to uphold the strong reputation of our property. Integrity, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail are key qualities for success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned, organized, and inspected according to company standards.
- Protect and care for equipment, reporting any inadequacies, damage, or repairs needed.
- Notify management of any deficits, disturbances, or maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle reasonable guest complaints and requests with professionalism, courtesy, and patience.
- Check and restock all consumable supplies (such as toiletries and linens) and replace items as needed.
- Follow strict health and safety regulations and maintain awareness of all company-related protocols and practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
- High attention to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as needed.
