The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Duties Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct thorough cleaning of facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free of debris. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep. Execute commercial cleaning tasks in offices, restrooms, and common areas to provide a welcoming environment. Engage in industrial cleaning activities that may involve heavy-duty equipment and materials. Support residential painting projects by preparing surfaces and maintaining clean work areas. Carry out floor care duties such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with commercial and industrial cleaning techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
