Housekeeper The Cape 801 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, residential properties, or industrial facilities. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring high standards of hygiene and comfort. Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all guest rooms are well-prepared. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages. Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining equipment. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist in housekeeping management tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Provide excellent hospitality service to guests by responding promptly to requests. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices in hospitality settings is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care methods is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
