Housekeeping Aide

Housekeeping Aide Job Description:
- following specific cleaning and service instructions and procedures in a safe manner
- completing all assignments scheduled in each unit and giving each unit the attention required to provide a sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment
- checking stock and notifying supervisor of supply needs
- maintaining equipment in good working condition and returning it to proper location after use
- and above all, ensuring that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
Housekeeping Aide Job Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language and follow oral and written instructions
- Possess working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in cleaning activities
