We are looking for a Skilled Housekeeper to join our team Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm! Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential or commercial spaces. Their responsibilities typically include cleaning and sanitizing rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas, as well as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Housekeepers not only clean but make a comfortable living for our clients and staff at OLV!

Environmental Service Manager Job Summary:

The employee has oversight in the scheduling of housekeeping projects and directing their completion. This employee will be responsible for the ordering of supplies/equipment and arranging for its delivery. This person will serve as a mentor to the housekeepers and assist in the training of new hires. This employee must be able to follow instruction of the supervisor. This person will have strong knowledge of appropriate use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Essential Job Duties:

Oversees the scheduling and completion of special housekeeping projects such as floor care, carpet cleaning, laundry, emergency clean up, etc. Mentors housekeepers and provides training for new employees in the housekeeping department. Prioritizes cleaning tasks and develops cleaning schedules to meet the prioritized needs. Provides the agency with a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning floors, lavatories, furniture, carpets and disposing of trash within their assigned area. Ability to appropriately operate and maintain floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners and other heavier equipment. Orders cleaning supplies and maintains appropriate inventory.

The occasional physical demand of the position is sitting.
