Compensation:

$15.60 – $16.40 per hour based on experience. Shift differential of $.80 may apply. $500 Sign-on bonus! Our Housekeepers are responsible for upkeep of all facilities. We perform general cleaning, sanitizing and housekeeping duties protecting the health and safety of the patients, visitors, and staff.

Duties:

Utilizes established infection control and standard precaution techniques in the performance of all duties; Cleans surfaces and fixtures throughout the facility according to established policies and procedures. Collects medical waste. Prepares cleaning equipment for isolation. Maintains closets, carts, linen, trash, recyclables, and medical waste storage areas, and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. Damp dusts, washes walls and doors. Responsible collection of soiled linen and laundry, and distributing clean items. Maintains stock levels for each department Performs second round check of above duties before leaving for the day to ensure cleanliness and adequate levels are being met. May operate floor buffer and carpet extractor.

Qualifications:

HS/GED is required Previous history of stable employment Previous commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred. Fingerprint background check required prior to hire Must be available to work weekend and holiday rotations.

Physical requirements of the role:

stand, climb, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Must utilize step ladder and/or balance. Must occasionally lift 25-50 pounds and/or push/pull up to 150-250 pounds.
