Babysitter/Housekeeper Reliable Expedite LLC Moving Gloversville, NY 12078 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for families in our community. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and possess the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role requires a commitment to supporting the developmental needs of children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changing, and maintaining nap schedules. Assist with homework and educational tasks for older children, fostering a love for learning. Maintain a safe and clean environment by tidying up play areas and preparing meals as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s daily activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Implement routines that promote discipline, respect, and positive behavior among children. Be attentive to the needs of children with disabilities or special requirements, ensuring inclusive care. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain awareness of safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in babysitting or nannying with references available upon request. Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and general childcare practices. Familiarity with educational activities that promote child development is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and backgrounds. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential traits.
