Housekeeper/Laundry Best Western 940 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 14623 Rom Attendant Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within our hotel. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort during their stay. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to meet hotel standards. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and stairwells. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing as required. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred; experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to hotel operations. Must have weekend and holiday availability.
