Live In Housekeeper/Childcare Maid To Match Glen Head, NY 11545 • Hybrid work Live-In Housekeeper/Babysitter – Glen Cove, NY A loving family in Glen Cove, NY is seeking a full-time, live-in Housekeeper/Babysitter to help maintain their large, elegant home and assist with the care of their two children, ages 3 and 4 . This is a hybrid role , with approximately 50% of the time focused on housekeeping and household organization , and 50% supporting childcare needs , especially during afternoon and evening routines.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday , with the option to add Saturday for a higher salary if desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

Housekeeping & Home Management (Approx. 50%): Daily cleaning and tidying of the home, including laundry Organizing closets, drawers, and storage areas General upkeep of a large family residence Childcare (Approx. 50%): Assist the mother in caring for two children (ages 3 and 4) Afternoon support after school and through the dinner, bath, and bedtime routines Occasional help with meals and snacks for the children Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities at home

Note:

Both children attend school during the day, and mom is home full-time.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in housekeeping and/or childcare (in a private home preferred) Ability to speak conversational English Positive references from previous employers Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a warm, helpful attitude A driver is preferred , but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

$850 – $950/week (based on experience and 5-day schedule); higher salary available if working 6 days/week Live-in accommodations provided Paid vacation and holidays
