Job Description
Private family is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper in their Midtown Manhattan home. The principal travels between Madrid, New York and Europe and would like to find someone able to travel with her for several months at a time.
Hours :
M-F 9am – 5pm
Pay :
$40-$50/hr
Live-Out The Ideal Candidate:
The position requires a Spanish-speaking individual with experience working in private homes. The candidate must be capable of managing daily cleaning, cooking, errands, and occasional dog care. The primary duties include daily cleaning and maintenance of a 4-story townhouse (with an elevator) or a ~3,500 sq ft apartment after a future move. Responsibilities involve making beds, tidying up, and ensuring the home is well-maintained. Laundry management, including washing, drying, and folding, will also be required. The candidate will preferably be able to prepare simple, healthy meals daily. Additional responsibilities include running occasional errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up items from CVS, or dropping off packages at FedEx. The role also involves occasional care for a small, friendly 15lb dog, such as walking when needed. The employer spends approximately four months of the year in New York, with the remainder of the time spent elsewhere. The workload will be heaviest during the employer’s time in New York. During the rest of the year, the workload will be lighter but will still include daily cleaning and other basic household tasks. What Works Best for
