Maid Service iClean Maids New York, NY Job Overview iClean Maids is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Residential Maid Cleaner to join our growing team in NYC. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, top-to-bottom cleaning services to our residential clients. Key Responsibilities As a Residential Maid Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering professional, thorough cleanings to client homes using our structured checklist.

Tasks include:

Performing comprehensive cleaning in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, dining rooms, and hallways. Disinfecting high-touch areas such as light switches, doorknobs, and appliance handles. Cleaning and sanitizing sinks, countertops, mirrors, tubs, showers, toilets, and glass surfaces. Vacuuming and mopping all accessible floors, including edges and under furniture where possible. Making beds, arranging pillows, and tidying personal items when requested. Taking out trash and replacing liners in all rooms. Conducting a final walkthrough to ensure the home meets quality standards. Identifying and reporting any damage, unusual findings, or maintenance issues. Following iClean Maids’ safety and cleaning protocols to protect both client property and your own well-being. Qualifications Must be punctual, professional, and have reliable transportation. Must be willing and able to travel to all five boroughs of NYC . Must have your own cleaning supplies and basic cleaning equipment. 2+ years of residential or hotel cleaning experience preferred. Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, tools, and products. High attention to detail and ability to follow a checklist precisely. Comfortable working independently with time-based goals. Physically able to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Experience using cleaning tools and equipment safely (e.g., vacuum, mop). Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor .
