The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage household tasks related to childcare and support families in their daily routines. The hours are 7am – 3pm Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner. Provide age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks for the children. Maintain cleanliness in the children’s play areas and assist with household chores related to childcare. Educate children through play, reading, and other interactive activities. Assist with homework and educational projects as needed. Provide first aid when necessary and ensure a safe environment for all activities. Support children with special needs or disabilities, fostering an inclusive atmosphere. Experience Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is essential. Familiarity with infant care is highly desirable. Experience working with children of various ages, including those with disabilities, is a plus. Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking skills to provide healthy meals for children. Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
