Overview:

A private family is seeking one highly experienced and self-sufficient housekeeper to provide full-day coverage for a luxury estate rental in the Hamptons throughout the month of August. The estate will host rotating guests, including six couples, and requires continuous, high-level household support. This role involves all daily cleaning, laundry, turnover coordination, and guest support — ideal for someone local, polished, and highly organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete daily cleaning of all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and shared areas Maintain an ongoing laundry cycle, including towel refresh and linen turnover Reset the home throughout the day to hotel-level standards Support guests with light housekeeping-related requests Coordinate Sunday turnovers for weekly guest check-outs and arrivals Maintain poolside cleanliness and towel organization Collaborate with houseman/driver for smooth daily operation

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in private households or luxury hospitality Strong ability to manage a large property independently Must be local to the Hamptons and available every day in August High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and clear communication Professional appearance, discretion, and hospitality mindset

Notes:

The family is open to either split coverage between two housekeepers or one full-day housekeeper. Candidates must be able to commit to the full month and maintain a 7-day schedule without requiring overnight accommodations.
