Hotel Housekeeping Part Time Weekend Days Cayuga Blu Hotel 2310 North Triphammer Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 Day Shift Hours between 9a – 3p Saturdays required Must be Reliable and work at a quick pace. We pay a bonus per room cleaned and our staff makes good tips from guests. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors while ensuring all surfaces are free from dirt and debris. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to maintain health and safety standards. Assist with laundry duties as necessary to support the housekeeping department. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the hotel. Skills Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in industrial cleaning. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
