The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, commercial, and hospitality environments. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of effective cleaning practices. The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming for clients and guests. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as required, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean environment. Supervise cleaning staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards are met. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning products and equipment. Assist in training new staff members on proper cleaning techniques and procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace. Skills Strong knowledge of custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques. Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team when required. Experience in housekeeping management within hotel or hospitality settings is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills to interact with clients, guests, and team members effectively. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
