Job Summary:
Receive, store and issue equipment or material in a stockroom. Check incoming material against requisitions or invoice’s, keep stock in orderly arrangement; fill orders according to requisitions. Complete goods and services receipts for equipment; write bill of materials for equipment and perform duties associated with maintaining the facility stockroom and associated storage locations.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures including lockout tagout, confined space entry, GMP, HACCP and Allergen. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow all sanitation procedures and standards. Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order; report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the supervisor. Perform duties as assigned. Some ongoing duties include those listed below, but are not inclusive to this position Create, implement, and execute an inventory management process for the tool crib. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule, receive, store and inventory parts for the repair of production machines and equipment and general maintenance materials. Manage spare parts requirements and inventory, ensure appropriate level of inventory for the maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment; Organize current parts, determine minimum order points and quantities. Manage vendor stocking programs for facility stockroom and associated storage locations whether on or off site. Schedule emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment with outside services. Schedule and oversee repairable spares process and fabrication of specialty items. Prepare equipment and parts for repair and/or replacement and inspect upon receipt. Assist in planning and scheduling of maintenance work orders as required. Report equipment parts usage from stock to ensure accurate inventory; notify department supervisor of any parts and supplies needing to be ordered. Document all work to ensure accurate maintenance records, ensure production operation is aware of status of equipment to improve overall communication between shifts. Responsible for organizing the scrap metal bins and waste water pick up and associated collection and schedule of pick up.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent from technical school Two (2) plus years’ experience in maintenance stockroom or general stockroom Ability to read and write English to maintain reports, read and interpret work orders and equipment manuals, review reports and maintenance records. Strong organizational and computer skills. Experience receiving, shipping and planning with MRO parts a plus.
Physical Requirements:
