Housekeeper The Darby Beach Lake, PA 18405 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests or residents. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment efficiently to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed effectively. Conduct floor care including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring to maintain their appearance. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Uphold the standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff as needed to ensure consistency in service quality. Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping management is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices within the hotel or industrial cleaning environments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day. Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment used in housekeeping operations is advantageous.
