Operate vacuum cleaners, power buffers, washing machines and floor polishers. Utilize hand equipment, such as brooms and mops, and cleaning chemicals in various forms, including liquids, sprays and gels. Store/Maintain equipment and keeping it in good condition. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years experience in Housekeeping/Janitorial, preferred. Ability to work as a team member and have management communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs. Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills. Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws. Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies. Knowledge of Workplace Violence. Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program. Knowledge of current utilized technology. Familiar with Community Resources.
