The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents alike. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks while adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests related to housekeeping. Skills Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices. Strong knowledge of floor care methods including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing. Experience in housekeeping management within hospitality settings is preferred. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
