Description:
Under the supervision and guidance of the Nurse Manager the caregiver will be response for providing care to the brothers who require assistance, assist with some areas of ADL care and in general help the brothers with daily living needs. This could include helping keep rooms clean/neat, putting away items and helping organize personal areas. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. a. Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating services provided and changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Manager in a timely manner. b. Attends clinical staff meetings and uses knowledge gained to provide quality care. c. Keeps up-to-date on required in-service trainings and continuing education requirements. d. Projects a professional image toward brothers, staff and visitors. e. Reports to work timely and as scheduled. f. Uphold all health and safety standards.
Skills Required:
a. Understanding of Medication Administration Records b. Able to use basic office equipment including, but not limited to telephone, scanner, fax and copier. c.
