Guest Room Attendant (Housekeeper) Clarion Inn and Suites 155 Colony Parkway, Aiken, SC 29803 Overview We at the Clarion Inn & Suites in Aiken, SC are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant (Housekeeper) to join our team. As a Room Attendant (Housekeeper), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. Your commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms and living areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition. Follow established safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Interact and communicate with guests and team members professionally. Skills Previous experience in housekeeping, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred. Strong understanding of hospitality standards within the hotel industry. Ability to learn about and adhere to Choice Hotels/Clarion brand room standards. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective time management skills to complete tasks efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
