Room Attendant Crowne Plaza North Augusta 1060 Center St, North Augusta, SC 29841 Overview The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. This position is essential in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests, contributing to their overall experience. Room Attendants are responsible for providing high-quality housekeeping services while adhering to the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted and free of debris. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and perform floor care duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use. Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and other staff members. Follow established housekeeping procedures and standards for quality assurance. Skills Proficiency in floor care techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing various surfaces. Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management principles. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
