Job Description
Banquet Houseman Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort 40 Folly Field Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort is looking for an On-Call Banquet Houseman.
Duties are:
- Set-up event functions in accordance with the Banquet Event Orders & Diagram.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of all banquet storage rooms for tables, glassware, plates and equipment.
- Responsible for room set-up & breakdown individually or as part of a team.
- Responsible for post-event cleaning up of event space. This includes but is not limited to vacuuming, putting away tables, banquet equipment, skirting and linen.
- Ability to assist in multi flip days or back-to-back flips. Some events may require a flip in the morning, afternoon & evening.
- Assist in presenting the event room. This includes but is not limited to: placing linen and skirting, presetting chaffers & plates on buffet, pre-washing glassware for guest tables & bar.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. and be able to lift/move banquet chairs, tables, stage, equipment, etc.
- This position can also be used as a banquet server, if desired.
