Housekeeper Holiday Inn & Suites Beaufort, SC 2225 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean carpets and upholstery as needed. Change bed linens, towels, and other linens in guest rooms. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Skills Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Knowledge of custodial duties and industrial cleaning techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Proficiency in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
