Hourly Overview:

The Mantissa Hotel is a boutique all-suite property known for its personalized service and high standards of cleanliness. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Housekeeping Team Member who will not only perform daily cleaning duties but also serve as a key communicator and coordinator between management, maintenance, and the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for someone with professional housekeeping experience who takes pride in keeping a small hotel immaculately clean and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest suites and public areas to The Mantissa’s high cleanliness standards Maintain neatness and appearance of building exterior walkways and common spaces Inspect rooms for quality, identify maintenance issues, and report repairs needed promptly Coordinate with hotel leadership to address room readiness, guest feedback, and supply needs Communicate with maintenance team and outside vendors for timely repairs and upkeep Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering as directed Serve as a leader-by-example for other housekeeping staff with strong work ethic and accountability Help ensure compliance with safety standards and cleanliness protocols Contribute to creating a welcoming and professional environment for guests and team members

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of professional housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in hospitality Prior experience in boutique hotel or small property settings is a plus Comfortable with physical tasks and fast-paced environments
