Plant Manager Job Overview:
In the Janitorial/Housekeeping role, you will be responsible for keeping our company looking presentable at all times. This includes the cleanliness of our offices, buildings, and facilities. In addition, this role will also inform management of the need of servicing and additional cleaning.
Essential Responsibilities :
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Services, supplies, and cleans restrooms. Dusting off office furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Gathers and empties trash to include trash cans in the close proximity of exterior main entrances. Cleans windows in front offices Notifies leads and/or manager of need of any major equipment repairs or additional needs in custodial services. Informs leads and/or manager of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Mixes water and detergents in containers according to product specifications to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, or furniture. Cautions employees on safety risks, e.g. wet floors, etc. Operates scrubber machine in the break room, production floor, and warehouse floor. Cleans scrubber machine as instructed Waters, cleans, and removes dead foliage from plants Washes and maintains cleaning equipment Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
Ability to follow basic operating instructions. Able to read and understand work instructions. Demonstrated aptitude for successful completions of assigned tasks. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. Must be committed to the success of the entire organization.
Physical Requirements:
Requirements include, but are not limited to: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Must be able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl. Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping. Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year of experience in cleaning preferred.
