Housekeeping Specialist Santee State Park 251 State Park Road, Santee, SC 29142
Overview:
Santee State Park is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Our park operates 365 days a year and includes 30 rental cabins and several supporting facilities. This position plays a key role in the guest experience and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of cabins and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces in accordance with park standards.
Assist with laundry services:
washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues or safety hazards. Adhere to cleaning protocols and safety procedures. Interact professionally with guests and respond to their requests courteously. Work both independently and as part of a team, depending on daily assignments.
Work Schedule:
Shifts typically run from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Includes weekends and holidays Expected hours: 32-40 per week

Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required – we’re willing to train motivated team players. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently. Comfortable working on your feet and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license (required). Ability to pass a background check.
