Description:
Cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, kitchen and living areas, assisting with meals for residents and engaging residents with planned activities. Clean resident rooms, including emptying and removing trash, dusting/damp wiping all surfaces, cleaning & sanitizing bathrooms, dust mopping/damp mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc. Collect soiled linen and clothing articles from resident rooms; transport soiled linens to the laundry room. Wash personal clothing when requested. Change and make beds. Maintain resident’s living area by ensuring that it is clean, neat and orderly. Clean all common and living areas, including emptying and removing trash, dusting/damp wiping all surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and bathing areas, dust mopping/damp mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc. Work with Memory Support team and involve residents in normalizing tasks: meal preparation & service, cleaning the building, doing laundry etc.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
1 year of housekeeping experience
