Housekeeping Spark by Hilton Sumter 2491 Broad Street, Sumter, SC 29150 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for residents or guests. Duties Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting various areas. Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and neatly presented. Prepare simple meals or assist with cooking as needed. Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any requests or concerns from residents or guests. Carry out commercial cleaning responsibilities in office buildings or other facilities as required. Maintain floor care by ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of hazards. Execute carpet cleaning procedures to uphold cleanliness standards. Sanitize high-touch areas to promote health and safety. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with residential cleaning techniques and products is advantageous. Experience in housekeeping management is a plus for those looking to advance within the field. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is beneficial for those working in business environments. Ability to perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors. Experience with carpet cleaning methods is desirable.
