Housekeeping Comfort Suites by Choice Hotels Sumter, SC 29150 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-presented. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Execute carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. Manage housekeeping tasks effectively, including laundry services when required. Interact with clients in a professional manner, addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Prepare light meals as needed, ensuring kitchen areas are kept tidy and organized. Follow safety protocols and use cleaning supplies appropriately to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning, carpet cleaning, and commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong knowledge of sanitization practices and floor care techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in housekeeping management or hotel housekeeping is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
