Housekeeping Runner Tru by Hilton Alcoa 125 Furrow Way, Alcoa, TN 37701 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and a passion for hospitality. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing various areas. Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with established standards. Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure safety. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and standards within the hospitality or hotel industry is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
