Toolroom Attendant Position Available In Cheatham, Tennessee

Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is searching for a Second Shift Tool Room Attendant in our Ashland City, TN barge plant. In this role, you will maintain, restock and monitor the tool room inventory. Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is part of Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provide a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You Will Do:

Organize parts crib utilizing available space. Utilize Arcosa’s CMMS for the following: Issue parts to workers for open work orders Maintain records of issued parts and associated costs Monitor parts crib inventory and transactions Monitor parts costs Receive parts Ensuring a safe work area. What You Will Need:

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred. Toolroom or parts room experience a plus. General knowledge of parts/tools and their intended use. Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team. Great attention to detail. Good communication and organizational skills. Basic mathematical skills. Basic computer skills. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
