Housekeeping Tennessean Travel Stop 3686 Pulaski Highway, Cornersville, TN 37047 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently, ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly. Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring. Conduct carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the appearance and hygiene of carpets. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning tasks. Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping management or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and guests. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform various cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
