Summary:

The Timber at Holly Branch, a proud affiliate of Ayres Vacation Rental, is a boutique hospitality destination located in Gatlinburg, TN. We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of guest suites and common areas. This role includes preparing rooms to meet hotel standards, maintaining laundry supplies, and organizing cleaning materials.

Responsibilities:

General Cleaning Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms to ensure all accommodations are fully ready prior to guest arrivals. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout all guest areas. Keep shared spaces (lobby, hallways, restrooms, etc.) consistently tidy and guest-ready. Inspect accommodations after guest departures and ensure proper condition for future guests. Perform regular sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface cleaning; remove trash and debris from the premises as needed. Restock linens, amenities, and standard suite supplies after each stay. Maintain and organize laundry carts and closets to support efficient housekeeping operations. Transport laundry between The Timber and the laundry facility as required. Keep outdoor areas, including fire pit locations, clean and well-maintained. Conduct routine audits of rooms and facilities to ensure furniture, fixtures, and equipment meet cleanliness and quality standards. Report and recommend replacement or repair of furnishings, linens, and supplies as needed. Use and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly in accordance with safety guidelines. Follow all sanitation, cleanliness, and hotel safety protocols. Assist with guest requests and contribute to a positive and seamless guest experience across the property.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years previous experience as a housekeeper (preferred). Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong verbal communication skills Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Positive interpersonal skills and customer service mindset Availability to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, climb, lift, push, and pull items weighing 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday.
