In search of a
FAMILY ASSISTANT
for a family of 5 who recently relocated to Franklin! The family is moving from the West Coast and renting in Westhaven for the near future. Their future, permanent home could be within Westhaven or within the Franklin/College Grove area(s). They have 3 children under the age of 3, with the newest baby being almost 8 weeks old. Schedule would preferably be Monday through Friday from 11am-6pm / approximately 35 hours per week. Note, this is a live-OUT role. The home is a calm, family-centered environment that values trust, professionalism, and consistency! They’re seeking a long-term Family Assistant who would like to become a valued part of their home and family! The main focus for this role is attending to the daily needs of the family. Housekeeping, cooking, and childcare will be required. The family will require two meals to be prepared during each shift, lunch and dinner. The family eats very clean and would consider themselves on a carnivore diet, with a focus on protein. Grocery shopping will likely be done by the family, but someone who is open to errands/shopping would be wonderful! Housekeeping is an integral part of this role. This Family Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness around the entire home, as well as dishes and laundry. Daily housekeeping tasks include, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing. It’s very important to the family that common spaces, such as the kitchen, bedrooms, and playrooms are kept tidy and organized. A keen eye for detail and love for organization will be required. Think of this home that is run as a high end hotel! Note, this rental home is 5,500 sq ft with 7 beds/6 baths. While childcare will be infrequent, this is also a very important aspect of this role. Occasionally, the Family Assistant will need to supervise the children (up to 3 at one time), so parents can run errands/attend appointments etc. Note, there is also one dog in the home (breed:
Boxer), who will need light care including walking and feeding. There is no pool on the premises.
Hourly/Salary :
W-2 or 1099 with an hourly rate will be dependent on experience
