Job Description:
Halsey Foodservice is currently seeking to hire a full time experienced Meat Processor to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who is a dependable team player, self motivated, and very organized person with close attention to detail. This person is responsible for production and preparation of fresh meat orders and should know all facets of the trade. This position offers competitive pay and a clean work environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Meat processing experience: 1 year preferred Cold work environment Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel and lift up to 50 pounds Must have keen focus on safety and able to identify best-practices and implement actions to remediate issues Must be respectful of others, and able to verbally communicate Must be able to follow directions Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised Dependable, punctual, and work as scheduled Reliable transportation Pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
