Position Summary:

The production associate preforms a variety ofmanual or machine assisted, repetetive tasks to produce wholeturkeys, turkey parts, ready

Essential Duties, Functions andResponsibilities:

Smoke & Bake

• Starting Pay Rate $17.50/hr
• -withincrease to $19.25/hr in 90 day
• plus $1.00 shift premium.
• -ShiftStart Time 11:00 pm,.
• Smoke & Bake Associates perform tasks topackage ready-to-eat (RTE) product. Essential duties include
• placing turkeys into bags; sealing bags on sealing machine;weighing, tagging, and netting turkeys in bags; boxing & packagingturkeys; training to proficiency to rotate through jobs and performmultiple tasks within the department; and performing any job in thedepartment at the supervisor’s discretion.

Must be able to work at line speed upon completion of trainingperiod. Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance forscheduled work hours. Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements ofthe job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be at least eighteen years of age and legally authorizedto work in the United States. Must pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employmentphysical. Some positions may require the ability to read, write and/orspeak English.

Physical Requirements:

Standing (8 hours or more per day). Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling ( up to 40 lbs. ormore). Operating hand held and/or mechanical machinery. Gripping, grasping, and twisting using hands and wrists.

WorkingConditions/Department Description:

Overtime and weekend work may be required. There is mandatory seasonal work for approximately 5 to 6 weeksduring the months of October and November, which includes working 7days per week. Job assignments are subject to the supervisor’s discretion, andjob duties may vary day to day, depending on production needs. May work in damp, cold, hot, and warm environments. Work with loud machinery. Work with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors.
