Fish Processor(cutter) Floribbean Wholesale 5151 NW 17th Street, Margate, FL 33063 We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our seafood processing team. As a Fish Processor, you will be responsible for handling, cleaning, cutting, and packaging fish and seafood products in a fast-paced, cold environment. You will help maintain high quality standards and ensure all products meet company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, fillet, skin, and portion fish and other seafood according to company standards Inspect fish for quality, remove bones and inedible parts Operate processing equipment such as filleting machines, conveyors, and vacuum packers Package finished products for storage or shipping Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and tools Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines Record production data as needed Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily quotas
Qualifications:
Prior experience in seafood Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable working in cold and wet environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons Must adhere to safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Work Environment:
Cold, wet conditions (processing room temperatures may range from 35°F to 45°F) Fast-paced, production-oriented environment Use of sharp knives and machinery required
