Meat/Seafood Clerk Flamingo Supermarket – Cooper City 2581 North Hiatus Road, Hollywood, FL 33026 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Meat/Seafood Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest quality of meat and seafood products are available for our customers. You will assist in the preparation, packaging, and presentation of products, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat and seafood selections. Prepare and package meat and seafood products according to company standards. Ensure all products are displayed attractively and meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat and seafood department, including equipment and work areas. Operate cutting tools safely, including knives, to prepare various cuts of meat. Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and assist with receiving deliveries. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient department operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food handling or the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of meat cutting techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Experience in a restaurant or food production environment is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols related to food preparation. Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
