Full Job Description Position:

Prep and Pack Associate Our Grab-and-Go section plays a vital role in delivering the elevated shopping experience we take pride in at Joseph’s Classic Market, by offering Guests fresh, chef-prepared meals designed for convenience without compromising quality. Our Prep and Pack Associates are essential members of every Department team, responsible for packaging and maintaining a variety of ready-to-enjoy products, with their attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensuring our Guests have access to quick items that look and taste exceptional.

Routine Tasks:

Provides customer service up to the Joseph’s standard Maintains Joseph’s standards for product freshness and sanitation Pack out soups, pastas, sauces, and other prepared foods Labels, dates, and rotates products for sale Packages and labels products for Grab-and-Go Operates scale, uses knives, and other Prepared Food equipment Assists with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to deliver friendly, respectful, and timely products Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems Ability to interpret and follow instructions Ability to work well with others Food preparation experience A passion for working on a high-performance team A Prep and Pack Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Kitchen department. This role involves physical activity such as walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees.
