Job Description
We’re hiring a full-time Specialty Foods Associate to help us make andpackage our award-winning ice cream, specialty butters, and artisanalcheeses. This position requires working on repetitive tasks,independently and in teams, as well as the ability to transition todifferent varieties of work throughout the day. The best candidate forthis position is someone who is a motivated team player, who exhibitsprofessionalism, and flexibility. A basic understanding of foods safety,FIFO, and manufacturing is important for this position. Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in ice cream, butter, andcheese production
- Producing, and packing of butter and ice cream
- Fulfilling orders of specialty products and milk for customer pick up
- Maintaining inventory and production records and FIFO over product
- Mayrequire loading and unloading, and cleaning trucks
- Following protocolsto keep facilities/ equipment clean and sanitized Applicants arerequired to have a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift at least50 lbs, and experience in foodservice and/or food production.
